La Duquesa is in Manilva municipality which lies on the coast at the edge of the province of Málaga on its border with the province of Cádiz.

Nestled in between charming Estepona and exclusive Sotogrande, La Duquesa is a lovely beachside resort town perfectly positioned for Gibraltar airport around 30 minutes away. The main coastal road that links the Costa del Sol from Gibraltar through to Marbella and onwards to La Duquesa is a few minutes away.
Puerto de la Duquesa is a quaint port that offers a multitude of bars and restaurants year-round. This is a lovely area for a holiday home and more peaceful than the larger resorts of Estepona and Marbella if you are choosing to relocate to Spain. There are many great golf courses within easy reach and walkers will love exploring the surrounding countryside. There are many excellent eateries off the beaten path and moving away from the port to find these gems is highly recommended.
La Duquesa is a low-key resort with a lively marina and port area where many of the bars and restaurants are based. The beachside walkway links Sabinillas and Casares offering more amenities. Beachside chiringuitos are lively all summer long and delightful in the Autumn. Exclusive Sotogrande is 10 minutes away where you’ll find polo matches and a yacht club. There are several local markets in the area too. La Duquesa is perfectly positioned for spending a day in Gibraltar or the upmarket shops and boutiques of Puerto Banus and Marbella.
It offers an excellent selection of properties at a very reasonable price point compared to neighbouring Sotogrande and Marbella. There are plenty of great value apartments available from those with a sea view through to luxury beachside. Villas can be set back from the coast a little but again boast excellent value for money.
